Daniëlle Hoogland started playing the piano at the age of seven under the guidance of Pieter Grimbergen, and she quickly discovered her passion for music. She says, “the greatest gift I have ever received from someone is the love for music.” Since 2018, she has been studying classical piano at the HKU Utrecht Conservatory, where she took lessons with Sebastián Colombo and is currently studying with Vivianne Cheng. Daniëlle frequently collaborates with other promising musicians and is an experienced and enthusiastic piano teacher. In addition to fostering a love for music through imparting knowledge of musical playing, technique, and theory, she prioritizes personal attention to best support her students.

Petros Papoulias

Petros Papoulias

Piano teacher at Pianolessen Utrecht

Petros began taking piano lessons in 1997, and now at the age of 32, he hasn’t stopped learning since.

He started playing the piano at the age of 7 at a music school in Athens, and later, at 18, he studied musicology, music education, and music production at the Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the age of 26, he came to Utrecht to pursue classical piano studies at the conservatory under Henry Kelder and jazz piano under Gé Bijvoet.

During his time in Greece, he also played in two rock bands for 8 years, and believe me, there was a lot to learn there! Classical music has always been, is, and will always be his greatest passion, but he deeply respects, performs, and teaches all kinds of music.

Lessons are offered in Dutch and English.
